Situated in the heart of County Durham, our brand new luxurious glamping site is ideally located on the doorstep of the Durham Dales, making it the perfect place to explore the rolling countryside. County Durham is home to castles, UNESCO heritage sights, refined dining destinations & endless forest trails.

Our fully furnished pods have been custom built with your comfort in mind. Each pod has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, hot water on demand and super comfy bed, dressed with the highest quality linen. Our pods are fully insulate and have central heating for those frosty winter nights when you can snuggle up amongst the cosy cushions and throws provided.

Each glamping pod is equipped with it’s own ensuite shower room, luxury towels and toiletries. Fully equipped kitchen area stocked with crockery, cutlery, microwave, fridge, hob and toaster. Sleeping arrangements include double bed and large sofa bed (sofa bed sleeps 2) with all luxury bedding included. Private outdoor area with firepit / BBQ and seating.

On site guests have access to The68 Cafe, Yoga Studio. Outside Seated Terraced Area and Games Room. The Yoga Studio and the Games room are situated at the top of Toft Hill with glorious panoramic views. Please contact Country Glamping for more information!

After you hand over your phone(s), laptops, and other devices for safe keeping in a lock and key box, we’ll provide you with the following:

Your own journal to write and reflect

Enjoy local attractions in Durham City, stunning scenic walks and popular family days out. Don’t forget your dog – we’re a North East dog friendly glamping site so they can enjoy the stay too. We have 3 specific pods that dogs can stay in.
